This is a new show on this podcast I'm trying out, and I hope you enjoy! Don't worry, the ClancyPasta PRESENTS episodes (the scary stories) aren't going anywhere - this is something new on top of the regular show!
Come back with me, to the fall of 2010, and we'll explore the terrifying and strange urban legend that is the lost episode of Squid's "Nightmare", and Red Mist. When these tales came out, it caused a wave in the online creepypasta echo system that is still hard to describe or relate to people who didn't live through it. I stumbled across discussions of this lost episode while home sick one day. I was absolutely horrified, and transfixed at the mystery of this story, even before I ever knew what the term "creepypasta" was, before I had ever even read or heard the term actually.
So I hope you enjoy the debut episode of this commentary / analysis podcast, where we explore the classic and ancient creepypasta stories, and see how we can relate to them today.
